Study outcome
Upon completion of the course, students will:
• be familiar with the variations of upholstered furniture and the classical solutions;
• be familiar with the construction systems and ergonomics of upholstered furniture;
• have acquired a good level of sketching ideas;
• know how to use different fittings and construction solutions based on a given idea;
• comprehend the principles of one-off production and serial production;
• be able to generate upholstered furniture designs;
• know how to use different techniques (computer, collage, hand drawing) to present their final outcome.
