| The objective is to provide an overview about the usage of a portfolio as a professional tool in the art world. To provide an overview about the stages of preparing and completing a portfolio of a professional artist, to support refining the skills of writing the textual parts of the portfolio (CV, resume, artist statements). |

| Study outcome |

Upon completion of the course, students will:
• be able to define the objective for the portfolio and describe its structure;
• be able to select, organise and structure their works purposefully;
• be able to design and prepare the portfolio on paper;
• be able to use suitable resources to create an e-portfolio;
• be able to prepare a portfolio both on paper and online;
• comprehend the role of the portfolio as a mean of professional communication. |
