Technological Practice
• An overview about the most used metals, their terms and definitions
• The qualities, processing and casting technologies of the metals most used in sculpture
• Bronze or aluminium foundries on wax casting technique (the preparation of a model and cast molds, casting)
• Finishing techniques |

| Study outcome |
Upon completion of the course, students will:
• have an overview about the different metals used in sculpture, their qualities and casting techniques;
• be familiar with the metal casting processes on the wax casting technique;
• be able to apply the finishing techniques of different metals;
• have carried out a practical project. |
