Having passed the course the student
has acquired systematic knowledge in qualification of textile fibres;
is able to identify different fibres and analyse the possibilities of their usage;
is familiar with maintenance principles of textile items;
has acquired sufficient knowledge in work safety and procedures of handling textile dyes;
is aware of testing principles and possibilities of textile materials in Estonia;
is able to analyse the necessity of testing textile materials;
has acquired an overview of contemporary textile materials and technological improvements of materials;
is familiar with finishing technologies of materials;
is able to analyse the choice of material in the design process. |
