• the construction and different types of photo cameras;
• the basics and possibilities of camera operation;
• the use, conditions and possibilities of various camera formats;
• camera accessories and their creative use to reach work objectives;
• preparing for the shoot: compiling the technical console
• my camera: building a technical foundation on an individual level, in accordance with the type of work at hand. |

| Study outcome |
On successful completion of this course the students should be able to:
• assess the differences between analog and digital cameras with respect to the work objective and choose their equipment accordingly;
• technically handle different camera formats;
• apply the camera and additional equipment in accordance to the work objective;
• be creative towards the possibilities offered by the camera |
