- introduction to history and principles of motion graphic design;
- overview of the range of video effects;
- learning Adobe After Effects at an intermediate level;
- theoretical topics are abundantly illustrated with visual materials.
Aim
The objective is to give an introduction to history and principles of motion graphic design implemented through learning Adobe After Effects software.
Study outcome
Learning outcomes:
Upon completion of the course, students will:
1. have an overview of origins, history, development and present state of motion graphics;
2. be able to analyse pieces of motion graphics;
3. be able to introduce necessary changes and add effects in post-production of the filmed footage;
4. have intermediate level proficiency in Adobe After Effects software;
5. be able to adequately present their work by the means of contemporary web tools.
