• The work comprises three assignments in the studio;
• Two copy-assignments, completion of the copy-assignments gives the students primary studio-technical skills for the third, creative assignment;
• Home assignment |

| The objective is to apprehend the methods of taking a photo of a person through given assignment, by using artificial light and technological possibilities of a photo studio. |

| Study outcome |

Upon completion of the course, students will:
1. be able to read a light scheme;
2. be able to analyse studio photos taken by different photographers and to present them schematically;
3. know different light types – diffused light, directed light, directed diffused light – and be able to use them in the light scheme by using different props – softboxes, reflectors, reverberators etc;
4. comprehend the logic of setting the light and be able to use an exponometer in setting up a light scheme; |
