• Overview of the operating systems, Windows and Mac, understanding their specifics and working principles;
• Introduction to the practical procedures in different operating systems necessary for the studies and practical assignments;
• Borrowing the department’s technology, using the reservation system, making a reservation, changing and cancelling it;
• Introduction to different cameras and recording media;
• Increasing the general competency of technology;
• The acquisition of the basic knowledge about digital and analogue technology. |

| The objective is to acquire the basic knowledge about the necessary technology for the professional work, its working principles and theory. |

| Study outcome |

Upon completion of the course, students will:
1. have an overview of Mac operating system and be able to use it professionally;
2. have an overview of different cameras, recording media and their compatibility with different software packages;
3. be able to use correctly the reservation system of the department’s technology;
4. be able to use correctly the technology available in the department;
5. know the working principles and theory of the technology. |
