• Introducing the possibilities of embossing and applying them in making a full leather binding.
• Making a textblock with a rounded back.
• Making the covers for the full leather binding.
• Colouring with aniline and acrylic dyes.
• Making work samples in veining, intarsia and leather batik.
• Making a faceted box. |

| Study outcome |
Upon completion of the course, students will:
• be able to creatively and originally use leather decoration techniques;
• have the basic knowledge about the technology of full leather binding;
• be familiar with the technology of making a faceted box;
• take the specifics of materials and techniques into consideration;
• be able to put the devised ideas completely into practice. |
