- comprehend the developments in media and advertisement design, their operating mechanisms and functions in society; - comprehend the role of media and advertisement design in the field of culture; - be able to devise, implement and evaluate various creative projects, analyse and address the potential upcoming problems; - be able to consciously choose appropriate techniques and media for the accomplishment of tasks in media and advertising design; - be aware of the psychological effects of multimedia, graphic design and advertising; - be able to build a team and/or participate in a team environment as a hard-working and responsible partner; - be able to manage the communication process with the client and/or audience; - be able to express themselves professionally in Estonian and English; - be socially active, understand and accept different attitudes and values; - be able to generate creative ideas and have courage to find unusual solutions; - be able to apply their professional skills of media and advertising design, being either an employer or/and employee; - understand the importance of personal development and be committed to life-long learning and creative process.
