General description

• Teaches the creation of the package and associating it with a series of related components (corporate identity, styling, lifestyle, space, form, consumer preferences, the needs of society, ecology, trends and product ergonomics)
• Introduces the application possibilities of different materials - textiles, leather, wood, metal, plastic, glass etc.
• Primarily oriented to exclusive products and unusual packaging i.e. products and packaging, which cannot normally be found in large chain stores

Aim

The objective is to develop creative ideas, create the concept for a product line and packaging. Support creative thinking, develop and teach a sense of composition, the creation of three-dimensional objects, specific features and possible uses of materials, recycling, packaging ergonomics. Help understanding and finding new, innovative ideas in the field of packaging products.

Study outcome

Upon completion of the course, students will:
1. be able to create a product-driven brand and its applications;
2. be able to create an original and interesting line of packaging, which has a clearly perceptible concept;
3. understand the peculiarities of available materials, be able to improvise with these;
4. be able to express themselves spatially.
