General description

Aim

The objective is to examine various animation techniques; learn to draw storyboards, based on the selected animation technique; gain experience in working with different animation techniques. Gain experience in creating an independent animation: selection of animation equipment, scriptwriting, drawing storyboards.

Study outcome

Upon completion of the course, students will:
1. have knowledge of the history of animation;
2. know the various animation techniques;
3. be able to distinguish between a variety of animation techniques and understands their technical content;
4. be able to see a story as a series of pictures and draw a storyboard;
5. be able to select suitable animation techniques according to the task
