• The introduction of the history and principles of motion graphic design
• Basic level introduction into Adobe After Effects software
• Illustrating the theoretical issues with video footage

The objective is to introduce the history and principles of motion graphic design. Basic level introduction into Adobe After Effects program.

Upon completion of the course, students will:
1. possess adequate knowledge of the history of motion graphics, its roots, development and contemporary stage;
2. recognise the basic types of motion graphics;
3. be able to analyse the works in motion graphics;
4. have basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects'i software;
5. have basic knowledge of animation theory;
6. be able to adequately present their works with the help of modern web capabilities.
