The purpose is to provide the student, who is a potential art teacher, with an overview of the main educational disciplines. During this course, the students will acquire the basic terminology of education.

Upon completion of the course, students will:
• The students will comprehend the terminology of education;
• The students will be aware of the main educational terms and methods;
• The students will be aware of how to use the psychological and pedagogical knowledge in developing learning and teaching methods;
• The students will have an idea of the meaning of being an art teacher.
