 To introduce the possibilities that emerge in the cooperation between science and design;
 To provide an overview of the possibilities to include innovation to the product development process and its public mechanisms;
 To provide a comprehensive overview of the environmentally-friendly design and its principles;
 To introduce modern materials and their possibilities in the product development;
 To provide an overview of the developments of material science and its possible future trends.

Upon completion, students will
