Study outcome

Upon completion, students will:
 have the theoretical knowledge of the criteria of the object condition assessment and the selection principles of conservation methods;
 be familiar with the research methods of physical and chemical processes;
 be able to select suitable research methods which are the basis for preparing a conservation plan;
 be able to use macro- and microscopic observation in the research of objects with different radiation levels;
 be able to make cross-sections and analyse them;
 be able to perform chemical tests for identifying materials;
 be able to use microscopic observation in identifying biological damage.
