• Brief overview about the history, terminology.
• Physical-chemical qualities and interaction of the used materials.
• Designing a fresco and/or sgraffito for the assigned interior.
• Preparing a preparatory drawing.
• Preparing a wall for covering it with arrichiato (base plaster). Arrichiato. Intonacco.
• Painting a surface (gior-nato).

Upon completion of the course, students will:
• be able to design the compositions characteristic to the technique according to the space and situation;
• be able to create cartoons, the preparatory sketches for the work;
• be able to carry out the design.
