General description

• Developing concepts according to the given topic. Discussion and analysis.
• High print: linocut, print from found objects.
• Planographic printing: monotyping, copy print, silk screen print.
• Intaglio: drypoint.
• Carrying out concepts into technique/techniques.
• Completing the work.
• Independent work.

Study outcome

Upon completion of the course, students will:
• be able to distinguish between different graphics techniques, understand the developmental aspects of graphics and be aware with the most important works of Estonian graphic artists;
• be able to carry out and combine different graphics techniques, and be able to use them in putting their ideas into practice;
• be capable of presenting the design aesthetically clearly and understandably;
• be able to think creatively when applying graphics techniques and combining them with an independent creations;
• be able to analyse their works and justify their choices of techniques used in their works;
• be capable of installing their works in the exhibition context.
