General description

• Procedure for conducting research on wall finishes;
• Safety in working on the object;
• Making opening samples and carrying out researches on a specific object;
• Preparing the documentation for the report.

Aim

The objective is to provide the knowledge and skills for conducting wall finishes researches and preparing the documentation necessary for restoration and conservation works.

Study outcome

Upon completion of the course, students will:
• comprehend the importance of the documentation for restoration and conservation works;
• be able to read and analyse the project’s documentation;
• be able to independently document the practical working process;
• be able to independently collect background information during the preparation of documentation;
• be able to find suitable places for making opening samples;
• be able to prepare a study report and its documents.
