Having passed the course the student
is familiar with types, construction and technological possibilities of the knitting machine;
is familiar with principles of work safety in machine knitting;
is able to operate and maintain the knitting machine independently;
is able to recognise and perform the main knitting techniques;
is able to analyse materials of knits and select suitable materials for their projects;
is able to combine knitting techniques and materials;
is able to finish and maintain knits.
