• be familiar with the most effective ways of joining wood details; • be familiar with different wood joint types; • be familiar with the most effective way of joining wood details; • be familiar with the frame structures of different chairs; • be familiar with older and modern materials and technologies used in making upholstered furniture; • be able to construct upholstered furniture; • be familiar with the basics concerning the making of spring upholstery.
