• Introducing the tasks of the course, documenting the condition of objects and mapping the damage
• Detecting the components of the object and mapping missing details
• Using the principle of analogy
• Draft, moulage, matrix, analogy in reconstruction
• Technical aspects of reconstruction
• Reconstruction and the authentic object
• Presentation

Study outcome

Upon completion of the course, students will:
• be able to detect the construction's missing or unsuitable elements;
• be able to find similar elements, construction solutions or copies;
• learn to prepare the drawings, moulages or models necessary for duplicating;
• be able to choose suitable materials, tools and optimal working techniques for a reconstruction project;
• be able to combine the reconstructed elements and the authentic material.
