General description• perception of the abstract and the development of abstraction with photographical methods;
• the suitability of different formats and methods for different contexts; • teamwork and the various tasks involved: AD, stylist, make-up artist, hair-dresser, assistant, photographer, staging director; • creative management of the end result; effective preparations and context-based execution; • critique seminars Study outcomeOn successful completion of this course the students should be able to:
• see and use abstract expressive elements next to the concrete • professionally use different modes of creative staging; • use photographic elements to achieve generalizations; • present the work professionally; • organize and manage a staged photography session; • place oneself mentally in a specific visual context (theatre, magazine, internet, CD-cover, etc); • communicate with the client effectively for maximum results; • analytically and critically assess the process as a whole.
