General description• the logic of an individual film project; its differences from photographic projects;
• differences between documentary film, photographic file and a music video; • planning and preparatory period of an art film; • the applicative aspects of direction, cinematography and montage on executing a project; • achieving an optimal match between expressive elements and film format; • adjusting a creative project according to the possibilities; • intermediary grading of and feedback on the originality and acuity of a project; • assessing the project's application possibilities • grading the final result, working out the most suitable exhibition/publishing format. Study outcomeOn successful completion of this course the students should be able to:
• know the basics of how to work on a bigger individual project; • create artworks that stem from original ideas; • use unconventional means to execute creative ideas; • be aware interdisciplinary borders and those of their speciality; • make effective decisions in the context of multiple options; • differentiate between approaches that enable standard results from those that enable the maximum; • have the capacity to generate unexpected creative results; • have a more complete sense of their abilities: of the strengths and weaknesses when working on creative projects.
