General description• interior as an environment that receives its meaning from people;
• the uses of interior photography (magazines, design catalogues, etc); • the characteristics of interior photography, its technical possibilities and requirements; • light in interiors: natural/artificial light, light temperature; • using perspective and optics: panoramic images, photo series, detail vs whole; • critical assessment of creative/applicative borderline approaches. Study outcomeOn successful completion of this course the students should be able to:
• perceive and analyze the the characteristic of interiors/spaces • recognize the different aspects of creative light use and apply this for optimal results; • prepare themselves technically and creatively to achieve professional results; • see possibilities for integration between this and other sub-disciplines (fashion photography, portrait photography, etc); • can critically assess the end result.
