General descriptionThe set of sculpture projects is a continuous specialty-centred creative practice that is flexible and with an emphasis on the personality. The general objective of the set is to raise the student's self-awareness in this field and help to position themselves as an independent author.
The study is based on the principle of a master class where every year one lecturer supervises the students' creative work. • An independent choice of the creative topic or working with a topic given by the supervisor; • The conceptual development of the topic and generating visual ideas; • Developing the primary visual material; • Devising a technical part of the project; • Carrying out the project. Aim• develop the skills of idiosyncratic/original thinking and generating ideas
• develop the skills of self-reflection and analysis • carry out sculptural projects which have an impact on individual and community level (incl. gallery art, environmental art or art located in public space (public art in city environment, ecology, art and community) or other words monumental art that is linked to the relation between the artist and client). Study outcomeUpon completion of the course, students will:
• be able to set the questions regarding the chosen topic and solve them independently; • be able to develop, justify, carry out and present their creative ideas; • carry out the project's art work from its planning to exhibiting; • apply the principles of volumetric/spatial composition; • have developed the skills of independent thinking, judging and analysis; • have developed the individual creative style of expression.
