Subject 'Restoration Project II'

The study will take place on the object that is under restoration. The selection of the practical project and setting the object will be made according the requirements of the restorer’s professional standards and the aims set in the learning outcomes.

Upon completion of the course, students will:
• be aware of the treatments of contemporary conservation philosophies;
• be familiar with the classing base materials of wall paintings, mortars and their conservation possibilities;
• be able to analyse the condition of the culturally valuable object and comprehend the significance of their work and importance from the perspective of object preservation;
• apply the acquired knowledge in the process of presenting the wall paintings.
