Subject 'Restoration Project III'

Year:   2015/2016    2016/2017    2017/2018    2018/2019    2019/2020    

The study will take place in the object that is under restoration. The selection of the practical project and setting the object will be made according the requirements of the restorer’s professional standards and the aims set in the learning outcomes.

Upon completion of the course, students will:
• be able to analyse the technical condition of the object under restoration and make decisions about the finishing techniques and materials;
• be aware of the different possibilities to work and exhibit the object under conservation;
• be able to make decisions and be capable of carrying out the conservation of the paintings under supervision;
• be capable of carrying out the reconstruction of historical interior paintings.
