Subject '3D Modelling. Basic course'

The objective of this course to be a logical follow-up for the introductory part of the same subject, within which a special attention is given to the development of the students' practical skills and professionalism of virtual modelling. This basic course describes different modelling techniques, lighting, creation of materials and final visualisation. The course includes carrying out a large-scale and more complex project.

Upon completion of the course, students will:
• be thoroughly familiar with the software interface;
• be able to qualitatively model objects of varying degrees of complexity through the basic tools;
• be familiar with materials, texture and lighting technique;
• be able to apply the special effects and modifiers regarding generating the form for the software;
• see the connections and be able to distinguish between the specific characters of virtual and material modelling.
