General description• introduction to computer graphics;
• examples of works made using vector graphics; • differences between vector graphics and raster graphics; • the uses and advantages of vector graphics; • Adobe Illustrator: software overview and intensive study; • solving practical tasks by combining typography and different styles; • saving files in different file formats; • using the acquired skills in creative assignments, e.g. an object, a portrait or a figure; • using the acquired skills in creative assignments, e.g. creating a non-limited surface, creating different patterns of a given object; • inspection of the works created, analysis, improvements; • preparation and printing (.ai, .pdf) • analysis seminar of the finalized works Study outcomeOn successful completion of this course the students should be able to:
