Subject 'Final Project'Name in Estonian: Lõputöö
AimThe aim of the final project is to demonstrate the student’s professional level and readiness for independent creative work after completing the courses of the curriculum
Study outcomeStudents presenting their final project in arts will:
1. be able to set aims and plan their projects; 2. be able to generate creative ideas in order to achieve innovative results; 3. be familiar with the contemporary trends in art and take topical issues in society into consideration when planning their projects; 4. make ethical and justified choices when planning and carrying out their projects; 5. be able to find the specialty-related information, analyse it critically and implement it effectively; 6. be able to synthesize the knowledge and skills acquired within this curriculum, and to use the acquired experience in carrying out the project; 7. have the knowledge and skills to make a choice for suitable work techniques and resources, and be able apply them creatively and originally in completing their work; 8. be able to visualise and present the stages of their work; 9. be able to analyse, justify and defend the result of their project. Students presenting their final project in design will: 1. be able to set aims and plan their projects; 2. take the aspects of user-friendliness and innovation into consideration when setting the aims; 3. make ethical and justified choices when planning and carrying out their projects; 4. be able to find the specialty-related information, analyse it critically and implement it effectively; 5. be able to synthesize the knowledge and skills acquired within this curriculum, and to use the acquired experience in carrying out the project; 6. have the knowledge and skills to make a choice for suitable work techniques and resources, and be able to find cooperation partners that are necessary to carry out the project; 7. be able to initiate the cooperation with a customer and work together; 8. be able to document and present their project; 9. be able to analyse, justify and defend the result of their project.
