Subject 'Animation. Animation Practical Project'Name in Estonian: Animatsioon. Animatsiooni praktiline projekt
General description• Client’s expectations to the (advertising) animation;
• Client relations in the animation process; • Overview of animation history; • Overview of the main principles of animation: the naturalness of movement, seeing the story in a line of pictures etc; • The developmental phases of a creative project. AimThe objective is to create an animation that has a specific output and client. For instance flat or two-dimensional (2D) and spatial three-dimensional (3D) animations. The animation must be a moving narrative that consists of both filmed materials as well as added effects and/or moving graphics and animation techniques.
Study outcomeUpon completion of the course, students will:
1. have succinct technical knowledge to make and animate a practical film or animation project using necessary animation techniques, storyboard or can delegate a portion of the work effectively to the members of a self-made work group; 2. possess creative independence to create a complete and effective project; 3. be able to communicate with the client and find optimal solutions while completing the commissioned work; 4. be able to coordinate a group work as required; 5. be ready for work as an independent professional in the field of Estonian animation production.
