Concept and nature of histories/ evolutions of photography: photography history as history of technology, as art history and as a development of mass media etc.

Study outcome

Upon completion of the course, students will
• be familiar with essentially important facts in photography history
be familiar with essentially important interpretation methods in photo history
• understand the specifics of the history of photography in general cultural evolution
• know how to find reference resources and materials on the topic
