• The introduction of the history and principles of motion graphic design;
• overview of the range of video effects;
• learning Adobe After Effects at an intermediate level;
• theoretical topics are illustrated with video footage.

The objective is to introduce the history and principles of motion graphic design. Introduction into Adobe After Effects program at intermediate level.

Upon completion of the course, students will:
1. possess adequate knowledge of the history of motion graphics, its roots, development and contemporary stage;
2. be able to analyse the works in motion graphics;
3. be able to introduce necessary changes and add effects in post-production of the filmed footage;
4. have intermediate level proficiency in Adobe After Effects software;
5. be able to adequately present their work by the means of contemporary web tools.
