Subject 'Sculpture'Name in Estonian: Skulptuur
General descriptionThis course discusses the topographical-anatomical connections of the normal human body with the functional anatomy. Within the pre-work of modelling, the emphasis is on the drawing of bones and muscles. Within the modelling, the models will be created from different parts of a human body (head, knee joint etc.), starting from constructing the bone, to which muscles will be added layer by layer. The logic of the sequence of practical tasks is based on moving from the construction details of a human body to the functional and plastic whole
Study outcomeUpon completion of the course, students will be able to think analytically about the functionality of the construction of a human body, and be able to recreate it in a sculptural form.
