The objective is to provide the knowledge about the preparation of prints for the offset printing; the ability to use the tools for the preparation of prints and to assess the requirements for printing quality; explain the need for colour management and its working principles; provide information about different colour models and their interrelations.

Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students will:
1. Have an overview of the need for colour management in printing process;
2. be able to calibrate monitors and use colour profiles;
3. be able to convert files from the source colour space to the destination colour space;
4. comprehend the properties of the offset printing method;
5. be able to prepare a design for the offset printing;
