Aim

• To provide the basic knowledge of the design management in order to understand the possibilities of applying design in planning and implementing the company’s strategic development plan;
• To provide the basic knowledge of the management of the design project and the related planning of processes and resources;
• To introduce the marketing principles and methods related to the product development;
• To provide the knowledge of the creation of brand identity and image, their processes and possibilities.

Study outcome

Upon completion, students will
• be aware of the principles of design management and marketing;
• comprehend the possibilities of using design strategically in business;
• be aware of the principles of the project management and budgeting;
• comprehend the principles of creating a brand and image
