General description

Conserved/restored object with a written report or a theoretical and applied research paper

Aim

Demonstrate professional competence acquired through academic studies as well as preparedness for working in the area of conservation/restoration in the chosen field of study.

Study outcome

Students defending the final project in the conservation/restoration specialisation will
1. have applied the principles of conservation/restoration in preparing their final project;
2. be able to achieve the goals set;
3. be able to take into account the historical background of the object under restoration;
4. be able to clearly and convincingly define the research problems relating to topical professional issues in the written component of the final project or in the theoretical and applied research paper, to open and analyse the chosen topic and formulate and generalize the results obtained;
5. be able to clearly present, justify and defend their views;
6. be able to properly prepare and defend the final project.
