• have an overview of the Estonian art culture, its versatility and trends. • comprehend the most important social and cultural processes influencing artistic creation. • be able to discuss the architecture and visual arts, and compare the Western and Estonian art. • have an overview of the classics of modernism • have acquired a certain amount of knowledge related to art history. • be able to find and work with speciality-related literature, interpret and define visual material.
