Aim

The objective is to acquire the basic knowledge and methods of pixel graphics and digital photo processing, and to form a personal workflow in order to work independently with the software Adobe Photoshop.

Study outcome

Upon completion of the course, students will:
1. comprehend the specifics of pixel graphics and its technical parameters;
2. comprehend the possibilities and limitations of pixel graphics;
3. be able to create images in pixel graphics by using different input devices;
4. know the working practices of Adobe Photoshop and be able to combine them for achieving the desired outcome;
5. be able to analyse the assignment and choose the most effective workflow for the task;
6. be able to work independently with the software Adobe Photoshop and use it for creative self-expression.
