General description• fashion as a part of identity or as a part of its creator; the characteristics of fashion during different historical periods;
• the differences between fashion photography and other sub-disciplines of photography; • fashion photography in the studio and in a natural environment — the differences; • the technical requirements for fashion photos; the possibilities/applications of fashion photography; • the principles of choosing a model, preparing models for shooting, the stylistical settings of a photo shoot; • practical assignments on technicality and creativity in a natural environment and in a studio; • communication principles in fashion photography; the practical execution of a model's portfolio; • critique seminars. Study outcomeOn successful completion of this course the students should be able to:
